Accumulation of Burrus auction catalogues (zie beschrijving) ; Maurice Burrus; 1962-1964; Printed; bound; English / German / Italian; hardcover; very fine; A beautiful series of 23 different Burrus auction catalogues, 22 of which are Robson Lowe catalogues and the other is the Helgoland collection offered by Hans Grobe, all beautifully bound in 6 hardcover volumes (many with realised prices), among them are those for the German States, Cape of Good Hope, Brazil, Mauritius, Mexico, lots from the British Empire, etc. Also included is a complete list of all 80 different auctions through which the Burrus collection was distributed, compiled by the late Brian Moorhouse. All in all, an exceptional lot.
