Won't it be too fast? We try to maintain a pace of 120 lots per hour. To avoid deviating too far from schedule, we have made a time table that we try to stick to. Breaks will also be clearly marked.
-
Won't it be too slow? Experience shows that 120 lots per hour is realistic, and the more there is bidding the more fun it is for everyone of course!
-
Do I need to install anything? The auction runs entirely through your internet browser. You do not need to install any software.
-
Is it also on tablet and mobile phone, or do I need a computer? You can also follow the auction on your tablet or mobile phone, a computer is not required.
-
Is it clear on the Internet when I have the highest bid and what I have bought? The system provides a clear indication on your screen whether or not you are the highest bidder and buyer. And the auctioneer of course repeats your buyer number.
-
Do I have to pay over the Internet? You can still pay afterwards, once you have received the invoice for your purchases from us and been able to check it!
-
What if I have questions before the auction? You can easily reach us by phone on 03 232 22 05 or via email info@vlvl.be if you have questions about your bids.
-
What if I have questions during the auction? There is someone permanently available on 03 232 22 05 to help you with last minute bids, with problems of logging in, with problems with limits, etc.
-
Will I see the lots during online bidding? You will clearly see the lot number of the lot you are bidding on, as well as the picture. Even more, you will see a picture of about half of the lots! This makes it clear to you what you are bidding on, and makes it pleasant to follow the auction.
-
Will I be able to hear or see the auctioneer? You will be able to hear the auctioneer, but not see him.
-
I am a telephone operator, will anything change for me? Nothing will change for you as a telephone provider. Here's a tip: if you follow the auction online, you can perfectly estimate when the telephone will ring. A great reassurance!
-
I send my bids via the site, does anything change for me? Nothing will change for you. You can still send us your bid, it will be confirmed by e-mail and we will bid for you during the auction. But maybe you would like to follow the auction live afterwards?
-
I send my bids via email, does anything change for me? Nothing will change for you. You can still send us your bids and we will bid for you during the auction. But maybe you would like to follow the auction live afterwards?
-
I send my bids via letter, does anything change for me? Nothing changes at all for you. You can still send in your bid and we will bid for you during the auction. But maybe you would like to follow the auction live afterwards? We no longer recommend this way of bidding : the postal service is not reliable for bids in the last week before the auction. If you want to be sure that we have received your bids, be sure to give us a call (03 232 22 05).
-
I am interested in several lots, but only want a few? We offer you either/or bids. You can now choose: either you send them to us and we will take care of the bids for you. Or you log in yourself, and during the auction you can decide which lots to bid on if you have purchased the first one or not. An incredible convenience.
-
I am interested in multiple lots, but want to spend a maximum amount? We offer these maximum budget bids, it's very simple! You can choose: either you send it to us and we will take care of the bids for you. Or you log in yourself, and during the auction you can decide which lots to bid on if you have purchased the first one or not. You can easily track the budget spent on the site itself. An incredible ease of use.
-
I am a hall bidder, does live bidding change anything for me? You can no longer attend our auction. We would like to invite you to forward your bids in another way, or to take advantage of the simplicity and ease of use of online bidding.
-
I used to be a hall bidder and I took my lottery tickets directly, can I now collect lottery tickets during the auction? You can no longer collect the lottery tickets during the auction, there will be separate collection days for that from the Tuesday after the auction.
-
